Join WSP USA this summer as an Electrical Engineering Intern and gain hands-on experience while working alongside industry leaders. This full-time internship is designed for individuals passionate about engineering and eager to advance their skills through real-world projects. Based in the vibrant city of New York, this opportunity is part of the WSP Summer Internship Program, running for 12 weeks starting May 19th, 2025.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with engineering tasks to develop technical, social, and ethical skills.
- Learn and apply the fundamental principles of electrical engineering.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to create drawings and specifications.
- Participate in the design of electrical distribution, fire alarm, lighting, and control systems.
- Perform calculations, including electrical load, short circuit, and voltage drop analyses.
- Support construction administration, field research, and project documentation.
- Gain proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Uphold WSP’s Code of Conduct and contribute ethically to all assigned tasks.
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an accredited Undergraduate or Graduate Electrical Engineering program (graduation date of August 2025 or later).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in technical writing, office software, and engineering tools.
- Ability to follow instructions and execute tasks effectively.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit.
- Previous internships or leadership roles on campus.
Compensation
- Expected Pay Range: $19.13 to $30.00 per hour (based on qualifications and experience).
