Our client, a premier web and mobile design development firm, is seeking a skilled Technical Project Manager. Role and Responsibilities:
- Project Definition: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project objectives, scope, requirements, and deliverables.
- Planning and Scheduling: Develop comprehensive project plans that detail timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary contact for project stakeholders, including clients, executives, and non-technical team members, ensuring regular updates on progress and potential risks.
- Team Coordination: Manage the scheduling and task assignment of project team members, ensuring roles and responsibilities are clearly defined.
- Project Tracking: Utilize project management tools like Jira to monitor project performance, ensuring adherence to schedules.
- Technology Selection: Evaluate and recommend suitable technology platforms for project execution.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies, adapting plans as needed.
- Quality Assurance: Set and uphold quality standards for project deliverables, conducting regular reviews to ensure compliance.
- Scope Management: Control project scope by documenting and assessing any changes, preventing scope creep.
- Sales Support: Provide technical expertise to support the sales team during client demonstrations and address prospective client needs.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed and accessible project documentation, including plans, reports, and meeting minutes.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- At least 2 years of technical experience, with a minimum of 1 year in a project management role.
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Proficiency in Agile and Scrum methodologies, with experience using Jira for project management.
- Demonstrated experience in a service-oriented company.
- A technical background with programming experience is highly preferred.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication and persuasive skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
