Role Overview:

The Electrical and Planning Engineer orchestrates seamless electrical maintenance and planning across all plant sectors, ensuring operational efficiency.

Electrical and Planning Engineer Primary Responsibilities:

Electrical Maintenance & Inspection: Ensuring compliance with Electricity Rules of 1937, conducting inspections, and coordinating with relevant authorities. Overseeing repair and maintenance, spare parts procurement, and IMS-related activities.

Project Execution: Procuring tools, estimating new jobs, scheduling maintenance, and supervising planned MOCs for quality assessment and safety adherence.

Planning Activities: Leading the safe planning of Engineering Department tasks, aligning maintenance schedules, and managing workflow through SAP.

EHS Responsibilities: Implementing a safe work system for contract staff, auditing maintenance activities, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Cost Reduction Initiatives: Identifying opportunities for cost efficiency within the electrical section.

People Development: Fostering a motivating work environment, enhancing staff awareness of best practices.

Compliance: Ensuring adherence to company policies and legal requirements in the electrical domain.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering with 4-6 years of experience.
Proficiency in electrical inspection/maintenance, familiarity with motors, transformers, switchgear, and regulatory frameworks.
Competency in MS Office and SAP.
Fluent in English, proficiency in Urdu.
