Role Overview – What You’ll Do
As an Electrical Engineer Intern, you’ll work closely with a dedicated mentor and be an integral part of multidisciplinary design teams. You’ll help develop systems that power and protect state-of-the-art facilities. This includes designing lighting, grounding, fire alarms, telecom systems, and more, while supporting all project phases from concept to construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform calculations including load analysis, short circuit, and voltage drop.
- Develop design documents like single-line diagrams, lighting plans, specifications, and schedules.
- Use software tools including AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors on complex design projects.
- Assist with code reviews and basis of design documentation.
- Contribute to construction documents and attend coordination meetings.

- Students pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical or Architectural Engineering.

Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, or BIM360 is a plus.

- Prior internship or co-op experience in electrical engineering is a bonus.
