WSP USA is hiring for its Summer 2025 Electrical Engineering Internship Program in Columbia, MD. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience and work side by side with senior engineers on real-world projects in the buildings and infrastructure sector.
If you’re currently enrolled in a degree program in Electrical Engineering or a related field and are looking for a valuable internship to boost your professional skills, this opportunity is designed for you.
As an Electrical Engineering Intern, you will collaborate with professionals on active projects, learn and apply electrical engineering principles, assist in preliminary design calculations, conduct field research, support engineering documentation, and participate in training and mentoring activities.
Please note that housing and relocation assistance are not included.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Enrolled in an accredited Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Graduation expected in August 2025 or later
- At least 18 years of age
- Demonstrated interest in electrical engineering projects
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic technical tools
- Authorization to work in the United States at the internship start date
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with AutoCAD or Revit
- Prior internship or leadership experience
- Enrolled in a Master’s or PhD program in Electrical Engineering or related field
Compensation: $20.48 – $28.09 per hour
Actual pay will vary based on education level, experience, skills, and location.
